My experience with this dealership was disappointing, especially considering this was a significant purchase. From the beginning, I felt the pricing was misleading and was not as straightforward as it should have been. Once we finally agreed on the deal, I signed all of the paperwork and sent the dealership a $20,000 down payment. At that point, I expected the rest of the transaction, particularly delivery, to go smoothly. Unfortunately, delivery ended up being delayed by approximately two weeks after I had already signed the paperwork and sent my down payment. I was also encouraged to finance through the dealership instead of using my credit union because I was told doing so would make the process faster. Given how long the delivery ultimately took, that was particularly frustrating. Communication surrounding the delivery was also extremely poor. There appeared to be very little communication between the dealership and the transport company. I was given two different delivery dates by the dealership, and neither one turned out to be correct. I was left trying to figure out when my vehicle would actually arrive rather than receiving reliable updates from the dealership. Delivery was then delayed again when the transport vehicle reportedly broke down. I understand that mechanical problems can happen and that this particular delay may have been outside the dealership's control. What bothered me was the lack of communication and coordination throughout the process. After already receiving incorrect delivery dates, the additional delay only made the situation more frustrating. Because of the delays, I was told that I would receive compensation for the inconvenience. I relied on that promise and tried to be patient throughout the process. Now that I have taken delivery of the vehicle, however, I have received no compensation, and my attempts to get a response about it have gone unanswered. I really like the vehicle, but the buying experience did not match the level of service I expected. The combination of unclear pricing, being persuaded to use dealership financing because it was supposedly faster, a two-week delivery delay after they already had my signed paperwork and $20,000 down payment, two incorrect delivery dates, poor communication with the transport company, and then the lack of follow-through on the promised compensation left me disappointed. I would have viewed the experience very differently if the dealership had simply communicated clearly, provided accurate information, followed through on what was promised, and responded after the sale. Unfortunately, once the transaction was completed, the communication I received before the sale seemed to disappear. I feel lucky I actually got the car, I spent about two weeks thinking it was an elaborate scam!
